Fade in/out transition
For this video I used a fade in/out transition to fade the sunrise shot to black, and then the turtle shot from black. I used Cap Cut to include this transition, by first importing in the videos. Then, I played with the length of time of each clip, to determine where the fade should be and how long the fade should last for. The sunrise clip is from the school before classes started. Filming this was slightly difficult as there were many students walking by, but the shot came out successful.
I used dissolve transitions to create the video of the flowers. I felt it evoked a calm mood from people watching and it showed the variety and beauty of the many flowers. I used Cap Cut to accomplish this transition and this one was probably the hardest of the 3 videos. I had to split multiple shots and play with the video lengths and positions to get the overall video I wanted.
Wipe Transition
For this video I used a wipe transition to go from the cruise balcony shot to the spider shot. I utilized Cap Cut to create the specific transition that I wanted. I tested out many types of wipes, but for this specific video I felt that the wipe from the top to the bottom of the screen was the best.
