Welcome back to my blog everyone! Today I will be talking about our editing so far, how we will be editing, and our plans for the future. 

Software : 

We will be using Premier Pro software to complete the editing of our project. Thankfully, Sofia and I have taken the Videography course at our school, so we know how to use and have access to this advanced software. We are also planning to teach Aleena and Amaya the basics of using it so they can also help out with some of the simple cuts and transitions throughout the editing process. 

Transitions :

The majority of our transitions will be hard cuts, as we want it to look "documentary" and "scary thriller" like, with a dramatic feel. We will also have a little montage of the friends playing the game, with some jump cuts included as well. 

Effects: 

For effects we will be increasing exposure, (to make them brighter). 

This is what we ran into problems with the most - the low quality and consistency. Since we were having a lot of trouble with the dark lighting, we wanted to fix this is the editing portion. This has so far proven difficult to achieve. The lighting in some clips looks very grainy and inconsistent with the others, causing it to look like it was made very low quality. To fix this we just put the settings the same, so that the lighting and entire film does not look choppy.

A second problem was audio and video. Since we used a separate audio system, and also filmed some audios at different times than the videos, syncing up these two aspects has proven difficult.
