Welcome back to my blog everyone! Today I will be giving a little update on our progress so far!
So far we have finished the filming for almost ALL of our film opening. We have the title sequence shots done, and the entirety of the outdoor scenes we are doing. This includes the walking out to the pool, swimming, drowning, and dying scenes. We have also completed about half of the sleepover scenes. This includes the overhead spinning shot of dealing out the cards, the shaky shot going around all the characters, and some dialogue scenes. The scenes we have left to film are the sleepover scene where the friends actually play and try to guess who the MAFIA is, and the scene where there is a sort of montage of each of the characters with their expressions.
We have also started the editing process! Before we returned all of the camera equipment, we downloaded all of the clips onto each of our computers. We did this by taking out the SD card and plugging it into each of our computers separately. This allows us ALL to work on the editing process. We have begun uploading these clips into premier pro software and are excited to begin choosing transitions, music, cut types, and more. Since we still have one scene o film, we have limited ability to edit as of right now.
