A QUIET PLACE : DAY ONE 

Mise - en - Scene

"A QUIET PLACE : DAY ONE " is a horror thriller about aliens who come from the sky in New York, invade, and kill the people there. They can not see, but have super sensitive hearing, forcing all of the characters to stay quiet in fear of the monsters going after them. 

I included the pictures of New York city and the subway entrance because the movie is set in New York. At the beginning of the movie they are at a puppet show right before the invasion, which is why I also added a puppet show photo. The doc photo is the actual location where the climax scene was filmed, and the abandoned house symbolizes the multiple places they had to hide out in throughout the movie.

The cardigan is the main characters costume, and the cat is her pet which is in almost every scene. 

I included the cities in destruction to represent how damaged the city was throughout the movie, due to the monsters. The falling planes and alien invasion photos represent the sci-fi nature of the film and the plot.

The "shush" photo represents the scarcity of dialogue in the movie because they have to stay quiet to survive. In the movie the main character talks about needing to get pizza, because she knows she will die anyways. Then you later find out that her and her dad used to go to that pizza place, because she picks up a broken picture frame. This is why I included the broken frame and pizza photos. 

The red color photo and the flashlight in darkness photos both represent the eerie mood of the film. They also represent the fear that is meant to be evoked from the film. It also gives a sinister, horror vibe when you look at the collage, which helps better capture the movie.
